After a Womb Massage, the single most important rule is simple: slow down for 24 to 48 hours. When you give your body that quiet window, the circulation, warmth, and release work we did has space to settle. People often tell us they felt “so comfortable” during their session, and we want you to keep that same supported feeling once you step back out into Gladstone and real life.
0 to 24 hours after Womb Massage: rest first, then gentle movement
Right after your 55-minute Womb Massage, we generally recommend you treat the rest of the day like a reset day. That does not mean you have to stay in bed, but it does mean you skip the things that spike heat, pressure, and strain.
Do this today: drink extra water, eat something light, take a slow walk if you want to move, and use a warm (not scalding) heat pack if you feel crampy.
What to avoid in the first 24 hours
- Strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, and intense core work
- Sexual activity
- Hot tubs, saunas, and very hot baths
- Swimming (pools, lakes)
- Heavy alcohol, especially the night of your session
And in Gladstone summer heat, hydration matters more than people think. If you have to be outside, try to avoid midday exertion and keep a water bottle with you. If you’re coming up or down the North Oak Trafficway commercial corridor near downtown Gladstone after an after-work session, it’s smart to grab water and a light snack before you head home, then call it a night.
24 to 48 hours: what’s normal, and what helps it pass faster
In the second day, most people do best with a “back to regular life, but softer” plan. Light walking and gentle stretching are usually fine. If you feel energized, great, but we still want you to avoid the hard push workout, the long run, or anything that leaves you depleted.
Normal for some people: mild cramping, tiredness, a little emotional release, or light spotting.
Often helpful: warm compresses, extra water, and soothing fluids like ginger or chamomile tea.
If you’re a busy commuter or parent, this is the part where clear rules help. Keep your schedule, just don’t stack the day with high-heat, high-stress choices. When people tell us they loved that we “educated” them on what to do and what not to do, this is exactly what they mean. Small choices for two days can make your session feel like it actually landed.
The first week after Womb Massage: keep the “open” feeling without overdoing it
The first week is where your body usually tells the truth. Some people feel lighter and more connected right away. Others notice the shift in layers. Give yourself permission to respond day by day.
Good habits to keep for 7 days
- Stay hydrated, especially if you’re dealing with Gladstone heat or long errands
- Keep movement gentle, think walking, light stretching, easy yoga
- Eat in a way that feels steady, lighter meals tend to help if you’re cramp-prone
- Notice emotional waves without judging them, your session can soften protective walls and bring things up
What we’d still like you to avoid if you’re feeling tender
If you’re still crampy, spotting, or feeling wiped out, hold off a little longer on hot tubs, saunas, and heavy workouts. Your body is basically asking for integration. Listen to that. This is also a good week to re-visit the guided womb meditation you received after your session. It often helps you hear what your womb is asking for, instead of pushing right past it.
Simple aftercare tools: hydration, heat, and a calmer calendar
You don’t need a complicated routine to protect your results. You need consistency. Think of aftercare as keeping warmth and movement available in your body, while avoiding the stuff that slams the door shut again.
Our go-to aftercare list
- Water first. Start now and keep going through tomorrow.
- Warmth, not heat. Use a warm compress 10 to 15 minutes at a time for cramps.
- Light, soothing fluids. Ginger or chamomile tea are easy choices.
- Loose clothing. Give your belly space, especially on the ride home.
- Plan the quiet. If you’re driving the North Oak Trafficway stretch, try not to schedule three more stops unless you truly have to.
OTC comfort measures can be appropriate for some people, but if you have questions about what’s a fit for you, let us know and we’ll talk it through in plain language.
When to message us vs. when to seek medical care (trust your gut)
We keep things calm and intentional in session, and we want your aftercare to feel that way too. If you’re unsure about something, reach out. We’d rather answer a quick question than have you sitting at home wondering if you’re “normal.”
“Loved my whole experience here! She took good care of me and educated me on so much regarding my body and the spiritual aspects of it!”

Reach out to us if you have questions about cramping, light spotting, fatigue, or how soon to return to workouts, sex, or heat.
Seek medical care immediately for heavy or prolonged bleeding, fever, severe pain, fainting, or signs of infection. If something feels off, don’t wait.
If you’re planning ongoing support for painful or heavy periods, cramping, chronic stomach discomfort, or womb-related pain, a follow-up session is often where the work gets deeper.
