Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Vellift Facial.

The Vellift Facial is ideal for mature, dull, thick or lax skin seeking exfoliation, lift and restored volume. It purifies, tones, and boosts collagen production. Not recommended for very reactive, inflamed, or open-lesion skin without prior assessment.

Allow 75 to 105 minutes for a full Vellift Facial, including consultation, deep exfoliation, the Jacquet-Leroy lift massage, and customized serums. Timing varies with skin assessment and desired intensity; your therapist will recommend session length during booking.

Most clients experience minimal downtime: light redness or sensitivity may occur for 24–48 hours after exfoliation and massage. Avoid direct sun, harsh exfoliants, and intense workouts for 48 hours. We provide a soothing aftercare plan and recommended products to support healing.

Clients often notice immediate tightening and radiance after one session, with cumulative improvements in tone and volume after three to six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart. Maintenance sessions every three months help preserve collagen stimulation and contour effects.

Contraindications include active infection, open wounds, severe rosacea flare-ups, recent chemical peels, isotretinoin use within six months, and uncontrolled medical conditions. Pregnancy is assessed case-by-case. A pre-treatment consultation ensures safety and modifies the protocol when necessary.

We recommend gentle hydrating serums, antioxidant-rich creams, and SPF30+ daily. Avoid active exfoliants for 7–10 days. Your therapist may prescribe Biologique Recherche products tailored to your skin — including moisturizers and firming serums — to maintain lift and boost skin recovery.
